How to migrate documents from Sharepoint to ServiceNow?

Hi everybody,

We are trying to migrate all tasks from Sharepoint to ServiceNow but we have been facing some problems to migrate the attachments (word, excel, pdf…).

In resume, we need to migrate hundreds of documents in the most efficient way possible to ServiceNow.

Anyone has any idea on how to overcome this challenge? Did you ever have this kind of need?

I already saw that topic but it doesn't answer to my question.

What i really need is any ideia/approach on how to migrate do documents from Sharepoint to ServiceNow.

Hi,

It looks like you can only import word documents so I guess, I know this is labour intensive, but export all the sharepoint docs to word format and then import them into sharepoint. I know it is double handling but I guess if you do them in batches then you will be able to categorise them. There doesn't even seem to be a plug in and I am running a dev version of Jakata.

We are soon going to be in the same boat so if anyone has a more elegant solution then I'll be also grateful.

Taking a look around you might be able to do something with import data sets and using xml data source? Have you taken a look at this option?
