I have been asked by leadership to rename one of our incident categories. I'm having a hard time figuring out how.
Guidance will be appreciated . . . . .

Hi there,
To confirm, do you mean these categories?
If you do for example right mouse click on the Category label, choose "Configure Dictionary". From the Dictionary Entry you can easily change the choices as mentioned in the Related Lists on the bottom of the screen. Just update the labels there.
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
Kind regards,
Mark

If I change a Category name, I assume I will have to make changes everywhere this name is used? Such as Inbound Actions, etc?

Hi there,
That depends. If you change the Label, it's oke. The label is also what you visually see on the form.
Though, changing the value could cause issues!
So if you just want to change a label from for example 'Closed' to 'Retired', that's fine, no worries.
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
