How to send notification to the 'Approver' in the RITM

Hi All,

How can I send notification to the "approver" we select for the Requested Item. Please refer following image.

there is already OOB email which is sent when approver is associated to an approval record

Hi,

are you adding the approver manually?

If yes then you would require your notification as the OOB one triggers possibly only when approver is added from workflow

Hi @Ankur Bawiskar ,

 

We use the OOB notification for approvals when the approver is added from the workflow, but it does not send a notification when the approver is added manually.

Do you know what needs to be done for notifications to be sent when the approver is added manually?

I can copy the OOB notification and change the "Send when" from Event is fired to Record inserted or updated, but that sends the notification twice when the approval is part of a workflow.
