Is it Recommended to give access to endusers to "Edit or Delete" added Additional comments on RITM?

Hello All,
We got a requirement from customer- Please give access to end-users to edit or delete their Additional comments in RITM. Is it recommended? if yes how we can give access and what are the steps needs to be taken.
Please check the attached screenshot. Need to give edit or delete option for Additional comments.
Please help me on this.

@Dr Atul G- LNG Thanks for sharing the article.
I found one more solution for this, instead of cloning the existing widgets and changing the scripts.
One Out of the Box System Property "glide.service_portal.comment.enter_adds_newline" is available if we enable and try to enter the key it moves to next line.
By default it is false i make it as true. Its working as customer expected.
Does this cause any issues in future if we change the OOOB System Property? do we need enable the Ignore Cache field as well?
Working as expected.
Could you please check and answer to this question.

NO , it will not impact on performance. Also it may come in Upgrade conflict as you changed the value, which is okay. Rest all good.
