Is there a way to link a problem management ticket and a change management ticket?
I know there are a few ways to do this, but I would be grateful if you could tell me when to use which method.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I want to link ChangeRequest and Problem records.
For example,
when resolving this problem record, changes occur.
On the contrary, this problem occurs when there is this change work.
Thanks and Regards

Hi @ayano,
You can add reference field to each of the tables which takes reference of each others record.
You could then add a Related List to both tables and query the above mentioned reference field to be parent record.
If you found my response helpful, please mark it as Solution and Helpful.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi @ayano ,
Please notice, that this is not best practice. You shouldn't link a problem to a change request, as ITIL defines a problem as a cause, or potential cause, of one or more incidents So if there is an issue during a change request, you would create an incident and not a problem record. Problem Management more defined is an IT service management process tasked with managing the life cycle of underlying "Problems." The primary goal of Problem Management is to prevent incidents from occurring, and if incidents do occur, prevent them from occurring again.
