Hi,
When we are assigning people to groups and assign them the ITIL role, would/should that give them access to
View, Create Reports and View Reports on Dashboards
Or should they also be given another role as well if so what would that be ?

As OOTB, a user who has an ITIL role can access reports and dashboards. If you need to share reports then need separate access.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

@michelle kirk Please refer to this URL to view details on the reporting roles https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-now-intelligence/page/use/reporting/reference/report...
Please check if these roles are already part of your ITIL role on your instance.

ok thank you,
That makes sense as they can see the Dashboard and although the dashboards and reports on the dashboard have been shared, they need this additional access.
Are you able to advise what that would be ?
