Hi!
For some time now, our knowledge articles have remained published and searchable even after their validity period has expired.
Previously, the articles automatically moved to the Outdated workflow state and were no longer searchable until the author revised the article and published it again.
What could be causing this behavior? Is there a setting or configuration that may have changed?
Best regard, Sanna

Hi @Sanna ,
The first thing I'd check is whether the Knowledge job that processes article expiration/retirement is still running successfully. If that job is inactive or failing, articles can remain in the Published state even after their expiration date has passed.
I'd also verify:
The affected articles have an Expiration Date populated.
No recent changes were made to the Knowledge article lifecycle or workflow configuration.
There are no business rules, flows, or customizations preventing the state from changing to Outdated/Retired.
The scheduled job history shows successful executions around the article expiration dates.
Since you mentioned this behavior changed recently, I'd compare a recently expired article with one that expired when the process was working correctly and check whether any Knowledge Management upgrades or configuration changes occurred between those dates.
