While troubleshooting performance complaints when opening a specific catalog item on the Service Portal, I noticed our sys_choice table contained more than 400,000 records.
After looking closer, there are more than 300,000 records which all contain a variation of "sys_hub_action_output" or "sys_hub_action_input".
These were all created by system on the same weekend we upgraded from quebec patch 7h2 to rome patch2.
Where are these records coming from? They are causing a noticable performance impact on a few of our requests on our portal

The case was resolved, it seems as if these records are indeed valid choices in integration hub spokes, and they were not the root cause of the slow performing service catalog.

Hi, I figured as much yeah, but I'd like to know what they are, and if it is safe to remove them, as they are causing major performance issues.

Short answer: No, it is not safe to delete data without knowing where it came from.
I can't make any assumptions without seeing the data and logs, so an HI ticket will be the only way to get a resolution.

Hello Jonas,
Looks like it is related to Flow designer, I suggest create HI ticket with service now team before deleting anything, once they are ok go ahead and delete. Mark my answer as correct if that helps.
