If you take the OOTB department table, and put this as a list collector on a catalog item; when you select any item in the list collector - information is displayed about that item underneath:
whereas for a custom table. it only displays the "Display=true" field
Can this be modified in any way? Currently I want to be able to control what information is available about the item selected.
This is a gap when compared with the Reference field which brings through the [i]nfo icon for a nice mouseover form popup.. But I want to have ONE OR MORE items selected.. so a reference field is not ideal.

The main point, is to customise the list view https://[YOUR_INSTANCE_URL]/[TABLENAME]_list.do?sysparm_view=sys_ref_list
