Hi All
I want to add a field Request.Requested for.Companany field to the list view so ITIL user is able to add this field to the list view when clicks on Personalize list. Currently he can see Request.Requested for as a field in default view.
I've opened the Configure List Layout and add this field to Selected fields but when I impersonate ITIL user then this field is not visible..
1. Log in with ITIL user
2. Go to Self-Service > Requested Items
3. Click on 'Update Personalized List' icon
Expected result: 'Request.Request for.Company' should be displayed in list
Is this some issue with ACL or other?
How to resolve?
Thanks in advance for help

Good morning,
You can’t dot-walk within a Personalized List — you’ll need to configure the List Layout instead.
Steps:
Right-click between any of the column headers.
Select Configure > List Layout.
In the available fields list, locate Request (it will have a + next to it).
Click on it and you will see a new icon appear above the left and right arrows in the middle, click on that
Dot-walk to the field you want, then use the Right Arrow to move it into the Selected (right-hand) list.
Click Save.
Note:
This will update the Default View for all users. Anyone who has already personalized the list will need to reset it to the default view. They can do this by clicking the Update Personalized List icon and then selecting Reset to column default.
I hope it helps
Kind Regards
Ashley

Hi @Kasia5
This is the expected behavior — you cannot perform the dot-walk in the way you’re trying to. Also, adding a new field through dot-walk requires admin rights, because configuring the layout is not available for ITIL users; you need admin permissions for that.
@Ashley , I think the solution you provided works for admin users, not for ITIL users. I tried in my pdi and it did not work.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
