I am trying to add a multi year contract. What is the best way to do this? Do I add a separate line contract for each year?
Depending on the contract, I may have different Annual Rates. I tried to select "Annually" for the payment schedule, but if I put the full amount of the contract (3 year amount) , it reports it as the yearly cost.

I wish someone on here would help us with this. Have you found a better fix? Agreed the three fields that are important to contracts are Total Monthly, Yearly, and Total Contract Cost. Rate cards are great when I have real estate leases for our office spaces when it is a multi year lease and the monthly payment changes each year or every 2 years. I will make one of my technical friends at ServiceNow aware of this thread and see what he has to say as well. Maybe he can direct it to a better person for assistance.

Hi,
There is a business rule named "Update Contract".
You will see that it just sum up all rate cards.
I would recommend you to "clone" this BR and update so the initial queyr takes the start and end dates of the rate cards into account.
Hope it helps.
Olivier.
