Need to Autopopulate technology owner field based on selection of business application

Hi ..

I have added two fields in catalog item i.e business application and technology owner but when the user selects the business application it should automatically populate the technology owner of that specific business application..

so what will be the client script for this

Hi @Yini 

There is no need to write script. It can be do able via Auto Populate.

Actually there's not much more to write on this, the Auto-populate functionality is just so straightforward! Have a Variable of type reference on your Catalog Item, create a new Variable that you want to Auto-populate and fill in the three fields under the new Auto-populate section, and that's it.

Please share some more details Business application variable is of what type? Technology owner variable is of what type?

What did you try so far and what didn't work?

They both are Reference type fields

Is it not 1-1 mapping?

Liek One BS has One Business Owner? If yes, then auto populate must work. Give a try.
