Need to populate Asset Serial number in service catalog variable

Hi All,
Need to populate requested for assets in lookup variable in catalog.
we have a requested for variable and we need to get the value of requested for Assets serial number from the (Alm_hardware ) table to populate in (serialnumber_varible ) lookup select box in catalog item.
Please suggest.

is bmm_Namee a reference or lookup select box?
also can you try updating this for that variable
Lookup label - serial_number
Lookup value - sys Id

Yes bmm_Name is reference and i have tried.
Lookup label - serial_number
Lookup value - sys Id
now also assets are not filtering and it shows in sys id's.
Please suggest.

what happens if you don't apply any advanced ref qualifier?
is this issue coming for admins or non-admins?

After removed advance qualifier it showing same result for admin and non admins as well.

since now we have no ref qualifier it should at least show the records which are not filtered
try creating another lookup variable and add ref qualifier and variable attributes to it and deactivate the older one
