Not able to see default value in multiline text

im merging multiple catalog into a single catalog form but im not able to see default value for multiline text.

same im able to see for main catalog but not for merging one.

 

Any suggestion will be helpful.

I want papulate default value here as i given in variable field. i dont know why this happening but i cant see default value from portal.

check any script etc is clearing that

The default text should display as you expect, and are seeing elsewhere.  I'm not following the merging - what you had, then what you did to merge, but if a variable isn't behaving like this, or responding to an onLoad Catalog Client Script, check the variable name to make sure it is valid and not duplicated, then maybe just add a new variable to do what this one should be doing.

its working with adding any ui policy or catalog onchange client script but when im trying to add ui policy or client script its not working.

I'm not following that at all, but make sure you do NOT have any Catalog Client Scripts or Catalog UI Policies that are affecting this variable (onLoad) to start with, as they could be clearing the value.
