Only Knowledge articles appear in form Service Portal Homepage search widget

Can anybody tell me why if I type anything other then the exact item name or just key words in the description or meta tags no catalog items appear in the results? For example I have a catalog item named MS Project. If I type MS Project, MS, Microsoft, project, etc. I get this catalog item as a result. However if a user comes in and type I need to create an MS Project Plane only KB articles appear. Even thought key works from this catalog item are part of there search not items appear.

I contact Support and they suggested enabling AI Search in the Service Portal so I can use stop words. Which seems to work as it ignores most of what they type.

No that catalog item has not restrictions.

P.S. this also happens when I'm logged in as admin. It seems that if I add anything before or after any of the key words it does not bring things up.

Do you have the Meta field populated as stated below. You can try regenerating the index

Check if following KB is helpful

Interesting the KB article says to check if key words are present in ts_word or ts_document but when I go to these tables I get the security warring "Number of rows removed from this list by Security constraints: 100" and this is when I'm logged in with admin role.

I did the re-index but I did noticed when I went to the sys_metadata to tell it to re-index there was a UI action upgrade to v4.
