I've created a new order guide containing a couple of service requests needed for onboarding a new employee (like computer, mobile phone, VPN access).
When I open this order guide via the "try it" button in the ITIL view, all included catalog items are shown as tabs next to each other.
In the service portal view the catalog items are shown among each other, which is non-ergonomic and looks messy. Along with poulating fields in each of the catalog items with the mandatory information, the page showing the order guide gets longer and longer and users need to scroll up and down. A tabbbed view would be much more user friendly.
As the tab-view is actually working in the ITIL view..any chance to get this view as well in the service portal view?

Hi @Ulrich Schulte I believe it's no possible to get the tabbed view on Service Portal. From the beginning itself catalog view on portal and on platform side are both different.I assume they will bring those exact features from platform view to service portal view.

I remember years ago (so in some former version of ServiceNow) we actually had an order guide with tabs in the portal view.
For me it is not clear, why this cannot be possible now. There should not be any technical constraints, as the tabs are showing up in ITIL view.
And again: Tabs would provide a much better user experience, so I would like to understand, why ServiceNow has decommissioned them for the portal view and is keeping them for the ITIL view.
