Orphan CI's using Orphan rule in CMDB health

hi all,

how are you using the orphan ci rule in servicenow for CMDB health and what are the definitions that you have used for different classes? what is the remediation action taken if a CI is determined as an orphan?

Hi,

To determine if the CI is orphan or not we have used rules like CI has no relationship with any other CI. We also have a condition where we check if the CI has an asset or not. other condition which we have is if we have assigned to and Managed By as well as owned by.

Remediation action is nothing but assigned a task to CMDB Support teams so that they take an action on this.

For Relationship we gave Any Relationship any class means if no single relationship.
