Planned start date and Planned end date not changing

Working on Change Management in ServiceNow Fuji release.  

When attempting to create a new change, I am unable to update the "Planned start date" and "Planned end date" fields. When selecting a date, the fields stay as "empty".

I'm not aware of any change that have been made to these fields. Any idea what I can check to help get this resolved?

Hi John, here goes some thoughts:



a) make sure you don't have any type of client script error that may be busting your session client script. You can do this by looking into the browser's console and observe if there's any errors while the screen loads and while you interact with it



b) make sure you actually have access to edit.(Meaning, that a ACL is not preventing you from editing the field). One validation you may want to do is to see if you can change the dates from a list view. If you can't, then there's probably an ACL which is preventing you from doing edits to the dates.

I believe you have only read only access.


Administrator of your Group might have provided you only read only access and denied to create or edit.



Administrative Access- Managerial Access- Developer Access- Read only User Access
