We are currently using the Aspen version of ServiceNow and are getting ready to upgrade to Berlin. Since this will be our first time upgrading our instance, we want to create a post-upgrade validation checklist. Does anyone have one of these that can be shared? Specifically, we are looking for an Admin level checklist as well as a user level checklist.
Thanks!

Hi Joe,
I can see nobody has answered to this, though I think after so much upgrades the people has gone through it would be great to have this done.
I am in the same position as you at the moment. Did you finally find out what you should check-test after upgrading to Berlin?

Hi Mercedes,
Gracias for the response. We decided to use the same User Acceptance Testing (UAT) checklist that we created for the implementation of ServiceNow. In addition, we are going to test our integrations (LDAP, auto ticket creation, etc). We just upgraded our QA and Sandbox environments to Berlin and so far we have not seen any issues with the basic testing that we performed. Once we do the UAT, we will upgrade our Dev and Production environments.
Regards,
Joe

I know it's been a while since you created this post, Joe, but with Dublin on the horizon I find I'm in the same boat as you were with Berlin. Would you be willing to share your UAT checklist as a starting point for others?

We've pretty much done the same thing, just use existing scripts for the apps we've already implemented whenever doing an upgrade. We're looking to make sure existing apps work as they did prior to the upgrade. I also check other things such as Single Sign On and email settings to ensure they are correct.
