Published survey, enabled public access, sent survey URL, they can't see the survey. Why?

Hello,

I am trying to send a survey within my company. However, when I enable public access and send the survey URL link, they page comes up as blank for them. Why would it be doing this?

Is there specific permissions needed by those to complete the survey.

FYI - I have survey admin permissions and extended ticket survey reporting. The user I sent the survey to has fulfiller rights.

Thank you,

What type of survey, (assessments or old surveys)?

If old surveys, If i recall correctly, I've seen this when the questions/variables are not set to have the public role.   There was a "Roles" field on the question record, give that "public", and try the link again.

Hello Jace,

This is the new survey designer on Helsinki. I set availability to "anyone" and enabled public access. According to the ServiceNow wiki, "enable public access" should make it available even for users who have not logged in to the ServiceNow system. Not sure why they even people internally would not be able to see it.

Thank you,

Hello Bridgette.

The reasons could be multiple, hard to say without having the details of the issue.

But as an important step, please make sure that your guest user is active on your instance ( not locked out), as public surveys require guest account in order to work.

I hope this helps.

Hello Corina,

How would I be able to make guest user active on me instance? Right now on the survey designer, I have the survey availability set to anyone. In addition, what do you mean by a guest account? I want to send the survey internally and externally.

Thank you,
