Purpose of "catalog" field in the RITM table

Hi Team,
I have a query, In the "sc_req_item" table we have a field called "catalog", Want to know what the use and purpose of the field and it is was read-only, and it was not available on the form level. It was there in the list view.
Please let me know your suggestions.

Yes, your right
I have seen the field is using in the breakdown of the request management dashboard report "Active requested items due within 5 days" where the report is taking by default group by with "catalog" field.
It results the empty report.

If it's an OOTB dashboard and report then it's a platform bug.
If ServiceNow is not populating that field then it should not be used in any reporting.

Hi @venkatesh tadip,
Additionally, you can open a ServiceNow Support case to have them troubleshoot if it's an OOB report; this field should be populated via the Catalog Item that was requested.
