Quantity Variable Not Reflected in Order Guide Summary

I created an Order Guide using rule-based conditions. When submitting it, I select a value in the quantity variable, but the summary page shows the number of items added instead of the selected quantity for each catalog item. How can I fix this so the correct quantity is displayed?

Set the quantity attribute to 'true' on the cart layout. Go to Maintain Cart Layouts and select the one called 'Item Ordering Widget (Order Guide)' under browser widgets and set quantity attribute to true.

I had already set the quantity attribute to true in the Item Ordering Widget (Order Guide) layout, but unfortunately it's still not working as expected. Appreciate any further guidance you can provide.
