Request for employee number is populate

The request for the employee number is populated I want to populate the user name.

You have to go to User name field dictionary in User table and update the display as true

Go to your table & change the display value of number field to false & make the field which displays user value as true.

@dgarad You can make use of OOB  "Auto populate" functionality to auto populate the value if one field based on the other reference field. You don't have have to do any scripting here. Refer my solution in below thread

What is the display value for Employee? Looks like that's the Employee Number? You could consider changing the display value or if that's way too much for just this use case, you would need to change the Variable Type.
