I have a new instance for a customer however post configuration, testing has been performed on Production to announce Go-Live. I need to reset the ticket number & it should start from 1 again.
I have gone thru few articles where it's mentioned to Go to Number Maintenance & change the counter to 0 (Zero).
However solutions are not accepted, I would request you to confirm if this process is right so that I can go ahead to make changes or I should request ServiceNow team to do that.

Go to Application Navigator-> Number Maintainence.
You will be able to do it there.
Number Maintainence modules purpose is to do this only. It is provided by servicenow for that purpose only. It is a right way. You can go ahead.
