Resetting a users view to default columns - I may be missing something obvious

I have users who have added and moved columns in a list view and I would like to reset them back to the default set of columns I specified.   Basically let them start from scratch.     I however do not see where to do this.   Bear with me as I may be missing something obvious.

I thought there was a way to select - reset to default as an admin (or potentially the user could).   I also do not see a view with this persons name on it that would be causing this list configuration.     Of course I am not sure deleting the view is the correct way to go about it.

I have not been an admin very long and I swore I have done this before.

Thank you!

You can wipe out personal list customizations by going to System UI > Lists (sys_ui_list). It looks a lot like the User Preferences table - just find the right user, and the right table name, then delete the record(s).

As a user, you can go up to the List Mechanic (top left corner of the list), and hit the "Reset to Column Defaults" option.

Patrick - any idea on how to make the "Reset to Column Defaults" button show when it is not showing?   It shows when I got to the list mechanic on my Open Incident list but not when I

Far as I know, the button only appears if you have customized the list arrangement in some fashion - it won't appear if you are already using the defaults.

Thank you very much!
