Restrict Non-Admins from changing the incident states to closed from list editor

I create ACL for restrict the state(closed) for non admins from list, But it's restricted like state field fully restricted, I want only remove closed state in incident list, I have attached the images, Please give any script for that.

• After that I impersonate as "ITIL" user, Then full state field is restricted from list editor, I want only remove "Closed" state from choice list for "Non admin" persons. Please give any solution for this

Not sure if you can do that or not. You can add a client script on form level to remove an option, but it won't affect the list edit.

Hi Rajesh,

In your ACL you will remove the role does not give any role.

because you were given admin role so only admin can edit.

then condition state is not closed.

it will work.

if not work? then tail me what happen.

I followed the instructions you mentioned , but it does not restrict the update of State field to "Closed" value ( from Resolved) from list view.

Please advise further
