SAVE button on report is grayed out

Hello All,

 

I created a report and shared it to everyone with ITIL role. But when I impersonated any ITIL user, I see SAVE button is grayed out. Is there a way to provide them update access as well.

Hi Pooja,

Is this a Global report which you created and shared, if yes then could you please share the screenshot. It works in my Instance though.

Hi Pooja,

Will suggest two things, first give report_admin and see if it works, if not give admin role and see if it works, if yes then next thing to check is the Requested Item table itself for write access. Check for the ACL for write for the table if its more than ITIL required or anything blocking to write the table.

Hi Pooja,

I belive report_group role is required to save the reports. Check by giving the user that role and check again.

Also, Check the following roles

 

report_adminCan manage reports.
report_globalCan create global reports.
report_groupCan create reports and share reports with groups that the user is a member of. Users with this role can edit reports shared by other users in the group.
report_publisherCan make reports available on a public page.
report_schedulerCan schedule a report to be emailed.
