Hello Community, I have an order guide to request access to various applications. Is there a way I can get the Service Portal search functionality to search for the contents inside of the order guide? For example, one of the applications people can request in there is called "Client central" but when I search "Client Central" the search cannot find anything related to it.

1. Check Catalog Item Search Configuration:
- Navigate to Service Portal > Service Portal Configuration in the ServiceNow instance.
- Look for the Search Configuration settings. Here, make sure that the Catalog Item and any related items within the Order Guide are indexed for search.
2. Use Catalog Item as a Searchable Entity:
- Ensure that the Catalog Item ("Client Central") is marked as searchable.
- Go to Service Catalog > Catalog Items and check if the relevant catalog items are searchable and indexed.
3. Modify Search Query:
- You may need to modify the search query for your Service Portal to specifically look inside the Order Guide and include those catalog items in the search results. You can do this by adding a custom search provider or modifying the existing search widget in the portal.
4. Configure Search Sources:
- Navigate to Service Portal > Widgets and look for the widget used to display the search results.
- In the widget, you can modify or extend the search source to ensure it queries catalog items and order guide content.
5. Consider Adding Descriptive Keywords:
- If "Client Central" isn't showing up, try adding more keywords or descriptions to the catalog item to make it more discoverable through search.
6. Rebuild Search Index:
- If changes have been made to the catalog items or order guides, try rebuilding the search index.
- Go to System Definition > Full Text Search and rebuild the search index for catalog items, knowledge articles, and other relevant areas.
Let me know if any of that works or if. you need any other help.

Hello @Andrew Meza
Do you want the users to submit order guide to request for the "Client central" or users should be submitting just once form and not entire order guide?
case 1: If request should be submitted by order guide only, then you can add meta tags related to all catalog items added in the order guide, so that whenever user search with those keywords, the order guide will be presented to user.
case 2: if request should be submitted independently, you will need to add the catalog item to any category in portal catalog and it will be visible.
Thank you,
Ali
