selectbox choices

Hi Guys,

I was using select box type for a drop down variable in a catalog item. But the issue is when i tried the item. The variable is already on the First choice, I want to add --Please select-- instead of auto selecting the first choice. I dont want to add a -- Please Select -- as a choice.

You dont need to add any please select  choice, in the drop down variables, there is on OOB option to "include none".

Look for include none option and check that checkbox. If it is not available on form you can find it in list view of your catalog item variables.
