Hi,
I have developed a couple of service catalogues in the past, but starting afresh for another organisation in reconfiguring the existing service catalogue.
This being a basic excel sheet holding everything software related and hardware related.
What examples do you guys out there have of this initial data collection stage and also where you begin with the visual business service/categorisation stage.

This isn't exactly what you were looking for, but I like to try to further prune the questions from the request requirements before moving on. You really want to ask as few questions as possible and still have everything routed correctly. I would also try to spend less time on categorization and more time on optimizing search.

Excellent point, I havent focused on search in the past. I am reconfiguring a poor, very basic implementation of a current servicenow service catalogue so getting all the services into excel etc, but will really focus on keywords search now.
