Hi,
With "Utah" Upgrade this is the first time we are going to use Employee Center. We have not migrated from Service Portal to Employee center yet.
We only have IT Products installed in our instance.
1. I want to create additional Menus.
2. Categories inside the Menus
3. Add Catalog items inside the Categories.
Please help me how can I achieve that?
Thanks,
Vaishnavi

Hello @Vaishnavi35 ,
1. U should go under Topic-> Child Topic -> Connected Content only to "Select" the catalog item not to create. To visible in the portal.
To create(catalogs are created same as whatever we step generally followed go to maintain items and create).
2. For to delete child topics/sub child topics u can set active as "false".
3. Browse all HR/IT Button is OOTB feature if u don't want it, u need to write CSS or other option to remove it.
4. Things which are not visible in mega menu -- it is expected. (For this u need to login and log out ur instance again and wait for few hours it will automatically visible)
Pls make sure for the topics u want to visible in mega menu, should contain at least one connected content.
@Vaishnavi35 , Please click on "Accept as Solution" and "Helpfuls." If my answer works for you.
Thank you.

Hello @Vaishnavi35 ,
1. I want to create additional Menus.: For this u need to type "Topic" in the navigator.
Create new Topic whatever u want in the additional menu and add that taxonomy to the portal(OOTB taxonomy is "Employee". U can create ur own taxonomy by cloning the OOTB taxonomy and add it to portal. But only one taxonomy can be added to a portal, as that is the best practice.) SS:
2. Categories inside the Menus : for this u need to create child topics. SS:
3. Add Catalog items inside the Categories.: for this u need to add "Connected Contents" inside the topic.(It is necessary to add at least one connected content to a topic to visible it in the mega menu of the portal.) SS:
URL suffix of Service portal is "sp" and Employee Center is "esc".
For more information please follow the product documentation :https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-employee-service-management/page/product/employee-center/con...

Thank you soo much for the help. Really appreciate your help.
I have tried adding the cloned taxonomy but I do not see "Edit" button. I have checked the "List Control" also. "Omit edit button" is unchecked.
Whenever we are creating catalog items,
how do we attach this catalog item to employee center to be visible on portal?
When we are creating a catalog item, what should I be giving under catalog and category field??
I do not see the category I created under the Taxonomy Topic here

Hello @Vaishnavi35 ,
Issue 1: When u r adding the taxonomy pls make sure ur Application Scope selected as "Employee Center Core". Only then u r able to see that edit button.
Issue 2: For to show Catalogs in the ESC portal. Simply u need to go to Topic --> Connected content --> Click on new select ur catalog item which u wanted to be visible in the portal.(All catalog items should be visible to u in drop down to select)
If u want to show specific category then u can select it inside this "Catalog and knowledge categories" .

Thank you for your help again Khushboo.
So that means every time I create and catalog item, I should go under Topic-> Child Topic -> Connected Content and create one.
I want to end the hierarchy till here.
Menu(Topic) -> Child Topic and here itself add the catalog items.
I want to delete these child topic under child topic (which is Category).
I have tried disabling "Computers" but still it appears in the portal. Though I have added Catalog items under "Hardware" Topic. No catalog items appear.
I have created "HR" Topic/Menu manually. I have tried adding the Child Topics and Connected them with catalog items but still they do not appear in the Menu in Portal
I do not know from where "Browse all HR" came from?
If you can help?
Thanks & Regards,
Vaishnavi
