While testing a Catalog Item for ordering an expensive device, the mandatory approval is being skipped for requester Andre Boer, but not for any of other requesters. Who can explain me how is possible do this?

@Salvatore Caruso

In that case I will go with the First Option that is as below:

☐There is a Business Rule, excluding Andre Boer from any approvals

Below is the ServiceNow article supporting the fact mentioned above:

is not mentioned the workflow, the available options are:

☐There is a Business Rule, excluding Andre Boer from any approvals

☐The manager does not a have a delegate assigned

☐The Andre Boer user account, does not have a manager specified

☐Andre Boer does not have a delegate set up in this account

☐Andre Boer is a VIP

probably the 1st options is correct.

HI @Salvatore Caruso

There can be multiple ways this can be implemented. If you want from the options listed then below will be the ones:

☐There is a Business Rule, excluding Andre Boer from any approvals

☐Andre Boer is a VIP

☐The Andre Boer user account, does not have a manager specified

Reason being a Business rule can be used to alter the flow. Also If a user is a VIP then there can be rule set up to skip the approval and also if there is no data it will skip automatically.
