Service Now is showing A task that is not there.  I cannot for the life of me figure out what happen.  All the reports show there is a task but unable to look at. I tried to exclude from my reports but cannot find the right condition that will work.

@Mannbk

So you are telling the sc task number in screenshot is not present in sc_task table but still it shows in search results?

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

 On the admin side he pulls a report and the first Task is not there.  My ticket count shows for example 10, but I only see nine tasks.  The missing task is the top one.

Here is the response from one of the admin.

"So, kind of figured what's going on here but still we don't have a solution. for both of the missing items, it's not in the table. this is the associated task in Service Desk tickets report. I wonder someone deleted it at some point. it's a puzzle for sure. SN thinks is there but it's not. will keep exploring. "

Then I ask if we could restore somehow.

"Unfortunately, no it's one catalog task and it's not in deleted either. the best we can do is to remove that task from you report so it won't show up since it doesn't exist anymore physically as a record. "

On that note I try to remove it from my reports, but it is not working.
