SNOW delegated user not able to approve/reject in Service Portal.

Hi,

 

Y is a delegated user of X.

 

In the service portal view of 'Y', under 'Approvals' all the pending approvals of 'X' are available.

 

But, the delegate user (Y) doesn't have the Approve/Reject button at the service portal. How can the delegate user approve/reject his tickets from Service Portal?

Apart from via email, how a delegate user can approve/reject tickets at the service portal? Kindly help.

Do check if Y user has same roles as X.

Delegation is just for transferring responsibilities but delegate user still needs correct roles / correct group to approve the things.

This might be the case .

Scenario 1: User Y has the same access as user X, but still user Y is not able to approve at the service portal.

 

Scenario 2: User Y has more privileges than user X, but user Y is still not able to approve at the service portal.

 

Can you please suggest what is the issue? Thank you!

Can you check the conditions of this UI actions from Approval table for visibility? There might be a case these actions are unhandled for delegate user.
