I created a Service Catalog for Standard changes so they would not be searchable in Service Portal. How can I get it so that if a fulfiller tries to search the Service Catalog from Serf-Service > Service Catalog they cannot find Standard changes there either? We get a log of Standard changes accidently being submitted via the Service Catalog.

You can hide them from portal using the Hide on Portal flag (hide_sp) in the item. This field is not visible in the form by default, you need to Configure -> Form Layout and add the field.
Then enable this check box to hide that item from portal.
It will hide from search also.

This does not hide it from the search in UI 16. I'm looking for a way to hide it from being search on the catalog view for user that work incidents and don't access the portal. It is some itil user who are accidently click on these creating a standard change that does not get used.
