Stop Change State changing after Change Task is complete

Hi All,

Does anyone know what triggers the parent Change state to change once the Change Task have been marked as complete? I would like to make this a manual process i.e. if the Change Task is marked as complete it should not automatically change the state on the Parent Change to the next state.

Thanks

Chris

I found the solution! I think i was just looking for something more complicated than it actually was! The next activity in the workflow after creating the Change Tasks is to set the state to Review. Simply removing this activity then makes it a manual change

Can you please check if this is getting done through workflow or any Business Rule.

Hi Shishir,

I've checked BRs on Change Request and Change Task table and also Workflows but can't see anything.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply.

I should have mentioned I've had a look for Business Rules running on both the Change Request and Change Task tables but couldn't see anything that would change the Change State once a Change Task is closed/complete. I've also had a look through workflows and can't see anything there either, I can see how a Change progresses from one State to another in the Workflows but not when the Change Task is closed/complete.

Thanks

Chris

Great Chris. So, the issue was in workflow.
