Hello Community,
I’m working with the Walk-up Experience portal and noticed that the "The waiting time is:" message is not getting displayed for users in the queue.
I’ve reviewed KB1096144 and understand this could be related to an ACL issue blocking the getMessage call for external users, and that the suggested workaround is to add the sn_walkup.walkup_login role.
However, I’m unable to find the recommended ACL (sys_id: 193d6a93d7210200bef20ee60e6103fc) in my instance, even after activating the Walk-up Experience plugin (com.snc.walkup).
Plugin is enabled and demo data is installed; related roles seem present.
Questions:
Has anyone faced this issue where the waiting time message is missing but the ACL does not exist in the instance?
Are there additional steps, updates, or security configurations needed for Washington or later releases to restore this functionality?
What’s the best way to manually recreate the missing ACL or resolve this for external walk-up users?
Any help, best practices, or pointers would be greatly appreciated!
