Hi Team,
I’m facing an issue where the Cost Center Reference field in the Consumable table becomes non-editable once the state is set to Consumed. This field is editable in the development environment but not in production.
Additionally, when an asset is retired and then reassigned to a user, the Cost Center field does not retain the value—it gets cleared instead of being saved.

Things to check
-> field level WRITE ACL
-> client script or UI policy
-> any before business rule is clearing the value
-> any flow is clearing the value

Hi!
This is likely caused by Prod-only configuration.
Check for UI Data Policies or Client Scripts making Cost Center read-only when State = Consumed, and Business Rules or the Flows clearing the field during asset retirement reassignment. Compare Dev vs Prod and verify all updates were promoted.
