Hi Mickael,

Go to dictionary(u_result) of that field and set default value as

javascript:current.u_test

thank you for the reply

this option doesn't work because we need to use the value of the field u_test on change

Hi,

In case both are same field name(assigned_to) ,but in different table , then how to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @bumineela balan

You can achieve this by using Dictionary Entry Override.

Step:1 Right-click on the field and select Configure Dictionary

Step:2 After the record opens, scroll down you will find Dictionary Entry Override Tab and Click on New to create

Step:3 Select your Table Name and Check this Override Default value to add a Default value.
