Variable choices are not visible in RITM when the catalog item is submitted.

Variable choices are not visible in RITM when the catalog item is submitted. I have checked everything to identify why the variable choices are not visible in RITM, also there are no validations like UI policies or Client scripts for that variable.

Could you please help me where am I missing.

Hi,

 

Can you verify if Variable Editor is added to your RITM or Task form? If not can you please add it using Form Layout. If Variable editor is added and still the variables are not visible try the below options:

 

  • If your item has a workflow associated then add the variables in Catalog Task activity within the workflow.
  • Navigate to the variable record and try marking the Global checkbox as True on the variable form and then try again.

Variable Editor was already added, but still the selected variable choices are not visible. It is happening only for one variable, remaining all variable values are visible under Requested Item variable details section.

Global checkbox for the variable is default false, it is working in my development instance if this is false. Issue is in my production.
