VTB - When I click on SCTASK0010990 Link it should open in the new window

Hii, 

Req: In the left navigation go to the Visual Task Board after opening any board and when I go on the cart view then click on the SCTASK0010990 link it should open in the new tab.

 

Rather than opening it as given in the 2 screenshot

kindly help me out with it

Hi @Chuck Tomasican you please help on this requirement? is it possible to open the task in new tab from VTB?

No it is not possible. The VTB is an angular component and they do not have a way to open the link in a new tab. 

You can click the task link on the card and use the browser to open it in a new tab, but no way in ServiceNow without customizing the Angular code.
