When a user is subscribed to a Knowledge article/base and the user criteria changes, do they still receive notifications?

Hi everyone,
When a user subscribes to a Knowledge Base or Knowledge article to receive email notifications, what happens if the user criteria on the base or article changes and the subscribed user no longer has access? Will they remain subscribed and still receive notifications or will the system remove them from the subscription list for the base/article?

Hi,
That shouldn't happen : "Knowledge authors are auto-subscribed to the articles they create. They receive email notifications when the articles they created are checked out or revised (published) by other authors, and if the articles receive user comments."
