Theme connecting to knowledge portal

Hi Community

Can you help me on how to connect a theme which I have set up in the theme builder to my knowledge portal in service now? I have published the theme. If I go to Service Portal - Theme I am not able to see the theme that I build and published in the theme builder. Accordingly also can I not locate it in the drop down of the theme section in the knowledge portal.

Quick hit or miss: is the theme created in the same scope as the Portal?
