I want to create training manuals and display as powerpoint presentations within a knowledge article or post a word document rather than a straight out article. can this be done? I have a pdf within an iframe but it is clunky and exec do not like it.

Hi Josieb,
With the ServiceNow-native application, Amaze, available through the ServiceNow Store for knowledge article creation, you can drag and drop PPT presentations and video (among other components) into an article and end up with appealing, magazine-like results that your execs will love. Many name-brand ServiceNow customers use Amaze already and have experienced a dramatic increase in readership. Check out Amaze at www.intellective.co/amaze.

Amaze is prohibitively expensive, almost to the point of extortion. Whatever you do, do not buy this product. It's so outrageously expensive that even Warren Buffet would balk at the price! $2500/per month is crazy. There are better options out there. The newest version of Snagit is quite good and it's only $62 for a perpetual license or $39/year for a subscription.

Hi mbernte,
So sorry to hear your passionate opinions about the Amaze application. We have many customers that would say just the opposite. In fact, there is a strong ROI that Amaze customers realize with the application, owed to not only a reduction in time for article creation but also a decrease in service tickets because the much better-looking articles are being read and utilized.
Comparing Amaze to Snagit is like comparing apples to oranges. Snagit is a simple screen capture tool where Amaze does much more functionality-wise, with dozens of ready-made templates and other components. And with our latest release, Amaze offers new, unique AI capabilities for article creation and an in-depth, analytics dashboard that can assess your knowledge management activities in real-time with many invaluable metrics.
Reach out to me separately and I can show you all the functionality that Amaze offers for much more effective knowledge article creation.

I'm well aware of Amaze's capability. The cost doesn't justify the features.
