Can we have have/ use templates for Knowledge article blocks?

I am thinking to digitalize applications' documents in ServiceNow by using knowledge articles. As we have different sections within document, which will require also different workflow/access, I through it would be great to have one article with several blocks, but blocks must also have templates (questions/ answers).

Unfortunately NO!! You don't have Templates for Knowledge Blocks.

Hi there, I have just checked this on a Tokyo instance and the answer is yes. It's definitely possible to create templates for knowledge blocks. You will need the proper role to perform the following steps:

  1. From the knowledge block list view, select the "New" button
  2. Toggle the template bar from the meatballs menu (aka three-dot menu)
    • The template bar will appear at the bottom of the form
  3. Select the "+" button to add a new template
  4. In the template form, fill in the fields you need.
  5. Save
