Can you edit the article view css?

I don't have any permissions in our dev environment to 'experiment' and have to rely on our outsourced service desk team to tell me what can and can't be done.  The differing time zones make it really hard to work together to try stuff out.

My boss has asked if we can make the KB 'a bit more fancy' and 'less IT' so is it possible to modify the css in article view?  Or are we stuck with the boring grey and white layout?

Also if anyone is willing to share any examples of what they've done to fancy it up, that would be great!  TIA

Hi Rebecca,

You should take a look at this thread , it is quite old so some of the information is outdated, but will give you an idea of what is and isn't possible. There is also this support article on how to change the CSS on the kb_view page.

I would also prepare yourself for some messages around paid software that can be used in ServiceNow to make the KB's a bit more "fancy".

Regards,

Eoghan
