We would like to utilize the Bulk Translation feature of ServiceNow for automatically translating one or more published articles for one or more enabled languages by a single translation request from a specific group of people.
We have :
- a multi-language instance with several languages activated
- enabled translation service spoke services with Microsoft Azure (machine translate)
- activated localization Framework support for Knowledge Base
- configured Localization Framework settings like below
Do you have any idea why translation are not published automatically even if in the
log of localization task is reported successfully translated and published ?

@NataliaZacarias,
Just to avoid confusion, the post you've linked to is something else (infact unrelated to the use of the Localization Framework),
Many thanks,
Kind regards

@Arnaldo,
So, when using the Localization Framework after the LFTasks have been submitted (when the translation) has been made, it will then create a "draft" article in the KB as a child to the original source article it was requested from. The translated articles will be in "draft" because they are new articles (with their own KB numbers) and so will follow the publication Workflow of that KB they are in,
Many thanks,
kind regards

@Alex Coope - SN
Many thanks for the feedback
In practice, a LFTTask cannot bypass the DB workflow set to the database that contains the translated knowledge article, even if "knowledge - Immediate publication" has been set.
This means that Bulk Translation can only prepare translations in advance, it will never publish articles directly.
If this is confirmed, when translation services spoken with Microsoft Azure (machine translation) is enabled
the localization framework for Knowledge is not really effective, since, without activating it, it is possible to generate the translation, generate the KA draft and publish it immediately, in sequence.
