ServiceNow Knowledge Article Appears Different on End User Side

Hi. First post, so please bear with me. I have been tasked with creating knowledge articles and so far, it's been great. The issue I'm running into is my article, upon creation, looks much different than what the end users see in the ServiceNow Portal.

Here is a snippet of my article I created:

And here is what it looks like in the portal:

My question is, why is the table missing from this view?

I also have a header that I like to put in my articles which is basically a single cell table with text. That table shows up in the article, but the coloring is removed, and the size is skewed.

Here is what it looks like in the knowledge portal:

Here is what it looks like in the ServiceNow portal:

I'm using the Vancouver version.

I've tried changing the table properties, but nothing changes. My assumption is that this is a setting that needs adjusting for the portal, but I am relatively new to ServiceNow so idk.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Hi there,

it looks like your portal configuration is stripping attributes from the HTML when the article is shown in the portal view. You should talk to your ServiceNow administrators and check if they have implemented a CSS style sheet in the portal, or something similar.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Lucas
