Viewing Changes In Knowledge Articles

Good day!

As I have progressed with maturing our Knowledge Management systems in ServiceNow, the one question/feedback I get quite often is "How can I tell, what changed in a Knowledge Article?"

I have not been able to find anything other than comparing the two documents side by side, but do we have a way to view a side panel or even have a comments field required on what was changed so that the approver or AQI performer can see and watch for those changes?

Thank you!

Since we are using ITSM Agent Workspace I see this nice feature that is even better of what you can see in Next Experience Compare knowledge article versions in Agent Workspace

Thank you, that sounds great. Is there any documentation that could be referenced in this discussion to display those steps. We are currently utilizing the NEXT Experience but I must confess that I lack knowledge in the Workspace area. I would love to pass this information to my team as well.

I had no idea about this and thanks to your post I started tinkering and I think this functionality is about to change my life 🙂 As a KM process owner for my region I'm going to create a WI and advertise this to every knowledge analyst.

ince the Agent Workspace is deprecated and no longer supported - does somebody know how this will be done in the future? I do not find any comparable functionality in Service Operations Workspace
