Creating a Legal Matter confusion

Hi - I am reading the docs site and it does not offer enough details.   it does say that you can create matters from requests - and a practice area lead can create new matters directly however,  so far to date I have not found a way while in the Legal Counsel Center to just create a blank Legal Matter or a Legal Matter from a template.   It seems that they all have to be created from an intake form and record producer.   However if this is the case there seems that there would be a lot of buttons in the workspace for each type you would want to create (example "New Subpeona" button).

What am I missing here?   Also to note my templates have phases and tasks tied to them.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Go to - The legal Matter table (sn_lg_matter_matter) and click on "Create New". Add the Matter form to the legal counsel center if not found.

Ideally OOTB , you should be seeing below option for matter.

Mark correct and helpful, if it helps.

Saiganeshraja - it sounds like you are saying to create the legal matter in the classic UI out side of workspace and not from within workspace which I am looking to do.

Hi @Community Alums

The screenshot I attached is from workspace itself.

OOTB the matter application menu options are present.

Correct the options are there - that is not my issue - there is not a general "Create New" button that does not leverage an intake form in Workspace.   I may just have to create a generic intake form and tie to a "Create New" action in workspace.
